Binding
Bound in black straight-grained morocco. Boards with tiple gilt-lined panel. Spine with gilt tooling and the words “Holy Bible” and “Oxford” lettered in gilt. Inner dentelles. Marbled endpapers. All edges gilt.
Condition
Edges and joints rubbed, corners bumped. Rear hinge cracked but holding firm. Bookplate of “John Brocklehurst” to front pastedown. Some writing on rare endpaper in 19th century hand.
