Description
A lovely copy of this edition printed on antique laid paper and limited to 250 numbered copies (number 173). This reprint of William Tyndale's New Testament Of 1526 is issued on the occasion of the 450th anniversary of the first publication. This has been slightly increased for ease of reading and the rule surrounding each page has been altered accordingly. Marginalia added by readers have been removed.
The Bible is bound in black grained and paneled goatskin featuring a gilt cross on the front board. Spine with five gilt lined bands and the words “Tyndale New Testament” lettered in gilt. All edges gilt. Inner dentelles. The accompanying box is silk lined with a ribbon to lift the Bible out of the box.
