Binding
Ornately blind-stamped and gilt-paneled early twentieth-century calf with triple lined border. Spine with the words “Missale Romanum” in gilt. Marbled endpapers. All edges red. Housed in a red crushed morocco clamshell with gilt-tooling to sides and spine.

Occasional spotting or staining, just lightly browned; G-K marginal staining; corners worn, joints just starting, lightly rubbed.
