A late 13th century leaf from a Latin Vulgate Bible produced in Paris, covering the text of Galatians 3-5. Written on vellum with black ink with two Lombard style rubricated initials in red and blue, with extensively decorated vines.
Condition
Minor staining, mostly to edges; minimum rubbing to vellum.
