The Bible text is complete and presented in two column Roman font with cross-references in the margins. With 50 additional plates featuring over 200 small copperplate engravings (four on each plate). Includes Apocrypha with separate collation. New Testament title page (1772) with Index.

Binding

Bound in brown gilt-paneled calf, sometime rebound with original spine laid down. Spine with six raised bands and gilt tooling to compartments. Marbled endpapers. All edges gilt.

Condition

Lightly rubbed with one nick to top board. Pages are unmarked with minimal foxing in places. Clean maps with occasional small tears and a few older repairs to the Map of Jerusalem. Overall the text is crisp, clean, and bright throughout.
