together with a complete edition of Speed's Genealogies, the Apocrypha
and a Concordance.
Gorgeously bound in blind-stamped leather covers and a spine with the texts "Holy Bible" and
"1630" printed in
gold letters on the spine. The Bible text is printed in double
columns in Black letter font.
Starts with the
illustrated genealogies (by
John Speed. with title page) followed by the Old Testament (with
gorgeous detailed woodcut title and prelims), Apocrypha, New Testament (with title
1630), and 'a briefe concordance' (1630 title) with various woodcuts, colophons and decorated first

The general title is an amazing
woodcut showing Moses (with 10 commandments) and David (with harp)
as well angels around the name of the Lord and depictions of the
last supper and the four evangelists.
This QUARTO sized Bible is in
an overall close to EXCELLENT condition. The binding is
professionally re-done. Overall exceptional clean pages with decent to
large margins (all headers etc present). Red ruled throughout. Bible
itself complete in every aspect. The general title is re-laid. See
