With a series of Illustrations in Chromo-Lithography. Glasgow: John M'Gready, n.d. [c.1880]. Large ornate quarto, black morocco, gilt with brass corners and clasps, all edges gilt. A very attractive copy.

Frontispiece, extra color title, (4), 944, (8), 288, 12), 1249-1276, 104, 3-56pp plus 64 color photographs plus maps and 6 full page fine steel engravings [COMPLETE]

This is a family study Bible with numerous helps: introductions to the various books, chronology, antiquities, Eadie's concordance, charts, history, and Psalms in Metre. The family records section has only one marriage noted, dated 1887.

This Bible is in a VERY GOOD condition. Binding is holding well, you can use the Bible daily (with care as always). All pages are present, no writings, no tears.  Some browning of the paper - a little occasional foxing.  The covers and spine as well as the lithographs are quite pristine.
