This SUBLIME in 'As-New' condition - chromolithograph (color) -  illustrated Antique - Practical and Devotional Family Bible has ornate brass corners, fully functional metal clasps and gold gilt pages, It is in a beautifully preserved, PRISTINE and  EXCELLENT condition. It contains a large number of attractive, very rare (for this publishing date) and well preserved  lithographs of original paintings, plus a serious of stunning color engravings. The Bible (King James version) itself contains an extensive on-page Scott and Henry commentary (reads like a modern day study Bible).

Apart from the Old and New Testament, there is a beautifully decorated,  family registry and  portrait section, various tables and indices and an extensive Concordance, a Biblical Cyclopedia and the Psalms in Metre.
This Bible is in an 'As-New' and EXCELLENT condition. Binding is excellent (antiquarian quality restored) condition, you can use the Bible daily without needing to worry about the binding. All pages are present, no writings, no tears.  Very clean pages.  The covers and spine as well as the lithographs are quite pristine. Original  blank family registry pages.
