1634 complete King James quarto Bible in an overall VERY GOOD and antiquarian quality and style rebound condition, bound together with a complete edition of the Book of Common Prayer, the Apocrypha and the metric Booke of Psalmes. Gorgeously rebound in antiquarian contemporary style leather covers (with part of the original covers and the original brass center and corner pieces) and a spine with the texts "Holy Bible" and "London 1634" printed in gold letters on the spine. The Bible text is printed in double columns in Black letter (Gothic) font.
Starts with  the complete Book of Common Prayer  (1634 even with title page - hardly everpreent) followed by the Old Testament (with title 1634 and prelims), Apocrypha and New Testament (with title 1634), complete, with various woodcuts, colophons and decorated first chapter initials. Ends with a complete 1634 Psalter with musical bars (ending with colophon)

Both this general title page as the New Testament title page is a woodcut-engraved title with words in a sort of heart shape in the center; woodcuts depict 12 tribes of Israel and 12 disciples.
This QUARTO sized  Bible is in an overall VERY GOOD condition.  The binding is professionally re-done and the Bible can be opened and read on a daily basis without any concerns. Overall clean pages with decent to large margins (all headers etc present). Some occasional smaller damages. First and last pages with some damages. Contemporary handwritten ownership genealogy at the end mention the Bagshaw family, including William Bagshaw (born 1675), his wife Susanna who was baptized in 1687, plus various descendants over the period up to 1762, details of the Corden family are also mentioned at the rear, including William Corden (son of William and Ann Corden) born April 14th 1780, Edward Corden, Sarah Corden, and others up to the year 1798.
